MPG Petroleum, Inc.

MPG Petroleum, Inc., formed in 1985 is an independent oil and gas exploration company that creates and develops the projects we are involved in. We are not middle-men or brokers that simply add to the cost of a project by passing it from the hands of the generator to the investor. Through geological mapping and detailed study we generate prospects, lease the minerals if they are available, put the project together and conduct the operation of it.

Mission Statement:

“Fueling the Future" is our mission because we are determined to help decrease U.S. energy dependence on foreign sources through the development of domestic oil and gas reserves.

Current Projects:

MPG Petroleum, Inc. continually has in development a diversified portfolio of oil and gas drilling prospects that range in size and risk. For example, our Pearl Prospect is a wildcat, exploratory prospect that targets world-class size reserves. MPG is involved also in lower-risked, re-entry projects within known fields of production, such as our Re-Entry and Stimulation - No. 1 Winters-Modesett Prospect .  Through this diverse portfolio, MPG Petroleum, Inc. can provide an opportunity tailored specifically to the particular requirements of an individual or industry partner.

Why Should You Be Interested in Oil and Gas?

  • Crude oil and natural gas prices are 300 % higher compared to the past 20 years, on average. This is not likely to change, other than up-wards because the global economics in place simply demand it.

  • Investment in oil and gas drilling and development offers excellent tax incentives. Intangible drilling cost (IDC's) are entirely deductible in the year incurred and they can comprise 65 - 85% of the total cost of a drilling project.

  • Participation in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production provides excellent diversification as part of an investment portfolio that may be heavily weighted in real estate and stocks.
